On Truth-Telling

Truth-telling is not neutral. To speak truth is to take a position, to risk consequences, to accept that some will reject what you say. The truth-teller is never popular with those whose power depends on lies.

This journal attempts truth-telling, knowing it will fail, knowing the attempt matters anyway.
