God in the Gaps

Some place God in the gaps of scientific knowledge. As knowledge expands, this God shrinks. But perhaps the divine is not in the gaps but in the whole—not what we cannot explain but the very capacity of existence for explanation.

The sacred is not the mysterious unknown but the knowable world itself.
