Corrupted Temples

The institutions that claim to represent the divine have often become monuments to human corruption. Power accumulates where it should disperse. Wealth hoards where it should flow. The temple becomes a marketplace, and the moneychangers return.

This pattern repeats across religions, across centuries. The corruption is not in the faith but in the human tendency to institutionalize and control.
