Christmas Meditation

The incarnation—God taking human form—is Christianity's most radical claim. The infinite enters the finite. The eternal inhabits time. The powerful becomes powerless, born to poor parents in an occupied land.

This story, whatever else it is, challenges every arrangement of power and privilege.
